radial piston pump RPP

A radial piston pump is a hydraulic pump used for pumping liquids. It consists of a housing in which several pistons are arranged radially around a central shaft. Each piston is mounted in a cylinder and can move axially.
The pump is driven by a drive source, such as an electric motor. The rotary motion of the drive is transmitted to the central shaft via a coupling. The rotation of the shaft moves the pistons in their cylinders.
The radial piston pump works on the principle of displacement. When a piston moves towards the casing, the volume in the cylinder is reduced and the pressure increases. This forces the liquid out of the cylinder and into the housing. When the piston moves in the opposite direction, the volume in the cylinder is increased and a negative pressure is created. This sucks liquid out of the housing into the cylinder.
Due to its robust design and high performance, the radial piston pump is suitable for various applications, such as in industry, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering. It can be used for pumping water, oil or other liquids. Due to the variable number of pistons and the possibility of speed control, the delivery rate and the pressure of the pump can be adapted to the respective requirements.
