OUR PHILOSOPHY
Complast GmbH was founded in 1977 to create a trading platform for used injection molding machines. From the very beginning, we have taken responsibility for the resource-conserving use of production equipment in the plastics industry. Machines refurbished by Complast are used in the second and third markets, thus conserving valuable resources. Thanks to the technical inspection of the machines by our well-trained technicians, our customers can be sure that they will receive a fully functional machine - even if it has already been in production for several years.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY
In addition to used injection molding machines, Complast also focuses on used spare parts, which are tested on the machine before being dismantled. Once the functioning components have been removed, the machine is professionally dismantled and returned to the recycling cycle.
We are currently working on expanding our available space with a PV system. In the medium term, we will cover our electricity requirements from our own resources and thus work CO2 neutral.
Our history
1977 - Founding of Complast by Hans-Dieter Lorenz and Günther Murr.
1985 - Construction of a new 1,000 square meter hall with a 10 t and 30 t gantry crane in Pegnitz..
1994 - Foundation of Complast South Africa (Pty) Ltd. in Durban, South Africa. Since 2004, the African market has again been served from Pegnitz.
1999 - Company succession: Andreas Murr and Peter Neuss take over from Hans-Dieter Lorenz and Complast becomes a family business.
2007 - Company succession: Andreas Murr and Peter Neuss bid farewell to Günther Murr in his well-deserved retirement. The generational change is successfully completed.
2013 - ISO 9001 certification: This enables us to develop our range of products and services in line with standards. At the same time, our quality management ensures that company processes run smoothly.
2014 - Complast starts selling new products.
2017 - Complast starts marketing used spare parts online.
2022 - Complast opens an online store for the marketing of injection molding machines, used spare parts, peripherals and new products.
